Daniel Grondahl has been with Peak Trust Company since 2020 and serves as Systems & Technology Manager. In this role, Daniel leads the administration, support, and optimization of the technology systems that support Peak’s operations. He oversees business systems, technology vendors, system enhancements, and technology support processes, with a focus on ensuring the firm’s technology environment remains reliable, secure, scalable, and aligned with organizational needs.
Daniel works closely with departments across the firm to identify technology needs, improve system utilization, and implement solutions that enhance efficiency and support the user experience. He helps guide technology initiatives from evaluation through implementation, including systems administration, integrations, automation, vendor management, and continuous improvement efforts. He also provides oversight and support for information security, cybersecurity initiatives, business continuity, and technology governance.
Prior to moving into his current role, Daniel served in investment operations at Peak, where he supported the firm’s investment management function through systems oversight, performance monitoring, portfolio reporting, and process optimization. His experience working at the intersection of technology, data, and operations provides him with a practical understanding of how effective systems can support teams across the organization.
Before joining Peak, Daniel spent almost a decade in the financial services industry, specializing in investment performance analytics and reporting. He previously worked at an Alaska based asset management firm, most recently serving as Manager of Performance Analytics, where he oversaw performance measurement frameworks and analytics processes.
Daniel earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
