Daniel Grondahl has been with Peak Trust Company since 2020 and currently serves as Investment Relationships Officer. In this role, Daniel supports Peak’s Chief Investment Officer with all aspects of the unique investment programs that Peak offers for high-net-worth clients and trust accounts. Daniel is the co-chair of Peak’s Operations Technology Steering Committee, a subcommittee of the firm’s trust committee focused on the continuous improvement of Peak’s operational excellence through the adoption of technology.
Daniel brings over a decade experience in the financial services industry, with a focus in investor relations and investment performance analytics. Prior to joining Peak, Daniel worked at an Alaska-based asset management firm in several investment performance analytics roles, but most recently as Manager of Performance Analytics.
Daniel earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from University of Alaska Fairbanks, and his Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement (CIPM) designation from the CFA Institute.
Amber Gunn has been with Peak Trust Company since 2014 and currently serves as a Senior Fiduciary Officer responsible for the administration of trust and IRA accounts. Amber administers trusts sitused in Alaska. Her expertise includes helping clients establish and administer life insurance trusts, trusteed IRAs, and self-directed IRAs holding alternative assets.
An active participant in the Anchorage Estate Planning Council, Amber shares her knowledge through co-authored articles on subjects like IRAs, charitable trust planning, and life insurance trusts. Amber’s journey at Peak highlights her dedication to continued learning and growth. Her deep expertise in fiduciary services and commitment to knowledge-sharing greatly benefit both the Peak Trust Company team and its valued clients.
Prior to joining Peak, Amber worked in trust administration with Alaska USA Trust Company. Amber has worked in several positions at Peak, starting as a Fiduciary Assistant. Amber earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English Education from University of Alaska Anchorage, and her Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) designation from the Cannon Financial Institute.
Mariam Hall has been with Peak Trust Company since 2018, currently as Marketing Coordinator & Communications Coordinator. In her role, Mariam manages the execution of all marketing, communications and public relations functions and supports the strategic alignment of growth and process improvement initiatives across every department. In addition to her marketing and communications role, Mariam is a contributing member of Peak’s Operations Technology Steering Committee, a subcommittee of the firm’s trust committee focused on the continuous improvement of Peak’s operational excellence through the adoption of technology.
Mariam is active in the Anchorage estate planning community. She previously served as Executive Director of the Anchorage Estate Planning Council, and remains an active member of the council. Mariam is also closely involved in efforts to support the creation and passing of trust and estate legislation in Alaska. Since spearheading its inception in early 2019, Mariam has continued to run the administrative functions of Alaska Trust & Estate Professionals (ATEP), a formal working group established to further advance Alaska’s trust and estate planning law for the benefit of Alaska and Alaskan professionals.
Mariam brings over a decade of experience in C-level executive support, event coordination, digital marketing, and business development. As a dynamic thinker and strong communicator, she is passionate about providing top-tier operational support and coordinating strategy development and implementation. Mariam has co-authored several articles and frequently writes educational content on a variety of trust and estate planning topics. Prior to stepping into her current role, Mariam first joined the Peak team as Executive Assistant to the President and CEO. Mariam earned her Certified Financial Marketing Professional (CFMP) designation from the American Bankers Association.
Lisa brings extensive experience in trust administration, estate planning, and fiduciary compliance to her role as a Fiduciary Officer in our Alaska office. Throughout her career, she has managed complex trust and estate relationships, provided strategic guidance to clients, and ensured adherence to fiduciary best practices.
Before joining Peak Trust Company, Lisa held senior trust administration roles at multiple financial institutions. She has overseen high-level trust accounts, advised on estate and conservatorship matters, and built strong relationships with attorneys, accountants, and financial professionals. Her expertise includes portfolio management, tax planning, and regulatory compliance, ensuring clients receive comprehensive and effective fiduciary support.
Lisa earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Northwood University and an Associate’s degree in Business Administration from Macomb Community College. She is a graduate of Cannon Financial Institute and holds the Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) designation.

Lars Laundrup joined Peak Trust Company in 2023 as Information Security Specialist, bringing over 7 years of cybersecurity and IT experience protecting confidential data in heavily regulated industries. He most recently served as a Security Consultant orchestrating audit compliance, vulnerability assessments, access controls, and incident response for a 21-location healthcare organization.
Leveraging hands-on technical expertise securing networks, endpoints and cloud platforms, Lars now oversees key initiatives impacting Peak’s security posture – including perimeter defenses, access governance, employee awareness and event monitoring. In addition to his information security role, Lars is a contributing member of Peak’s Operations Technology Steering Committee, a subcommittee of the firm’s Trust Committee focused on the continuous improvement of Peak’s operational excellence through the adoption of technology. while upholding strict regulatory obligations.
A Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Lars earned his Bachelor of Science in Information Technology Management from National University. He maintains additional industry credentials including CompTIA Security+, Fortinet NSE 4 and Sophos Firewall Engineer. By optimizing information security protocols and instilling data protection best practices across the company, Lars empowers the Peak Trust Company team to safely uphold fiduciary duties and provide excellent service as the firm scales exponentially.
Brent Liner joined Peak Trust Company in 2024 as a Senior Fiduciary Officer in our Alaska Office, bringing a decade of experience in trust administration and wealth management. Brent has a proven track record in managing complex trust accounts, enhancing operational processes, and mentoring team members to foster professional growth and excellence.
Before joining Peak, Brent held numerous leadership positions in trust and wealth management, where he administered significant portfolios, streamlined trust operations, and spearheaded policy updates to ensure compliance and operational efficiency. His career highlights include overseeing $1 billion in assets under management, redesigning trust administration processes, and serving as a subject matter expert and trainer in trust services.
Brent is actively involved in industry advancement, contributing to legislative evaluations through the Pennsylvania Bankers Association Trust Advisory Committee and participating in various Estate Planning Councils and Wealth Management Conferences.
Brent earned his Juris Doctor from Campbell University, where he also completed a Master of Trust and Wealth Management, graduating magna cum laude. His undergraduate studies were completed at the University of North Carolina-Wilmington with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History.
Geoffrey Longhurst has been with Peak Trust Company since 2019 as a Compliance Specialist. In this role, Geoffrey works with regulators and third-party auditors supporting the continuous development of the Company’s regulatory and fiduciary best practices compliance program.

Prior to joining Peak full-time, Geoffrey interned at Peak Trust Company in the summer of 2016 gaining valuable exposure to both the operations and trust administration departments. Geoffrey earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Political Science with a minor in French from South Dakota State University where he swam competitively at a Division I Level. Geoffrey holds the Certified Fiduciary Risk Investment Specialist (CFIRS) designation from Cannon Financial School.
Heather Popowych serves as Policy & Procedure Unification Specialist within Peak Trust Company’s compliance department. In this role, Heather contributes to standardization, documentation and alignment of all policies, controls, workflows and training programs across the enterprise.
Leveraging project management expertise from her background, Heather facilitates cross-functional input to update legacy documentation, identify control gaps, consolidate redundant protocols and track version control. Her work reduces operational risk while ensuring procedural consistency.
Prior to her current position, Heather supported Peak ‘s executive team as an Executive Assistant where she gained valuable insights into leadership priorities and challenges. Over her earlier career, Heather managed complex initiatives across data systems and human resources functions in the private sector.
Heather holds a Bachelor of Arts in Human Resources from the University of Oklahoma. She applies analytical thinking, communication skills and an eye for detail in her mission to optimize Peak Trust Company’s policy infrastructure amid ongoing expansion.
Andre Sears has been with Peak Trust Company since 2022 as Business Development Officer serving Peak’s clients and partners across all 50 states. Serving all of Peak’s offices, Andre is responsible for being a helpful resource for client inquiries and serving as the primary point of contact for Peak’s referral network partners.
Prior to joining the Peak team, Andre’s career included 20 years of diverse senior management, marketing, finance, and business development experience, with expertise in evaluating and developing new business opportunities and managing complex relationships in fiduciary services, IRAs and insurance. Andre previously served as Vice President of Business Development for, at the time, the largest trust company in the state of Nevada helping grow the company to nearly $5 billion in assets under administration. He previously held executive roles at a regional registered investment firm and Sun West Community Bank, respectively.
A native of Las Vegas, Andre’s strong commitment to give back to his community is demonstrated through his volunteer activities. Andre previously served on the Board of Trustees for the Southern Nevada Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) from 2008 – 2013. In 2008 and 2009, Andre served as Corporate Walk Chairperson for the Southern Nevada Light the Night Walk. Andre is an active volunteer with Helping Hands of Vegas Valley whose mission is to improve the quality of life for senior citizens and their families to maintain their dignity and independence. Andre is an active member of the Clark County Law Foundation.
Andre earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Boise State University. Andre has completed the Executive Education Program for Leadership Development modules for Accelerating the Careers of High Potential Leaders and Leading Global Business at Harvard Business School – Executive Education.
