Patti Blattmachr

Patti Blattmachr is an indispensable pillar of the Peak Trust Company team, having served since the founding of the company in 1997. As Executive Officer, Patti conducts all independent annual trust reviews to evaluate account status, performance, risk levels, and achievement of client goals and objectives. 

In her decades of tenure, Patti has worked extensively across fiduciary operations, investments, relationship management, and trust administration. She leverages this remarkable institutional knowledge to inform annual reviews and provide key executive insights. Patti was the first ever employee of Peak Trust when the company established its inaugural Alaska office location over 25 years ago. Her commitment to the business and vision were instrumental in those early stages of growth.

Patti earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Outdoor Recreation from Northwest Nazarene University. As Peak Trust’s longest-tenured employee, she has been essential in building the high-performing, client-centric team Peak Trust Company is known for today.

Jacob Creswell

Jacob Creswell joined Peak Trust Company in 2025 and currently serves as a Fiduciary Officer in the firm’s Alaska office. In this role, he is responsible for the administration of complex trust accounts and for fostering strong, thoughtful relationships with clients and beneficiaries. Jacob works closely with families and their advisors to ensure each trust is administered in accordance with its governing documents, applicable regulations, and Peak’s high standards of fiduciary care.

Jacob began his tenure at Peak as a Fiduciary Assistant, where he developed a strong operational foundation in trust administration and client service. Prior to joining the firm, he gained valuable industry experience through internships with several Tennessee trust companies, contributing to estate planning initiatives, the administration of personal and special needs trusts, and business development efforts. These experiences provided him with a well rounded perspective on the technical and relational aspects of fiduciary services.

He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Trust and Wealth Management from Campbell University, graduating magna cum laude, with a minor in Financial Planning. During his academic career, Jacob received multiple scholarships and distinctions, including recognition on the President’s and Dean’s Lists, and completed the Truist Emerging Leaders Certification program.

Detail oriented and client focused, Jacob brings integrity, professionalism, and a collaborative mindset to every relationship he serves, supporting Peak Trust Company’s continued commitment to excellence in fiduciary services.

Daria Davis

Daria Davis has been with Peak Trust Company since 2022 and serves as Tax Officer in the firm’s Alaska office. In this role, she is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely execution of tax related responsibilities for fiduciary accounts. Daria supports Peak’s fiduciary operations by coordinating trust tax filings, processing tax payments, tracking compliance deadlines, and maintaining detailed tax records across administered accounts.

She works closely with Fiduciary Officers, Operations, external CPAs, and tax authorities to facilitate the preparation and filing of fiduciary income tax returns and related forms. Her responsibilities include tracking filing deadlines, coordinating quarterly estimated tax payments, supporting annual 1099 processing, monitoring IRS notices, and maintaining system accuracy to ensure tax designations and reporting requirements are properly reflected. Daria’s strong organizational skills and attention to detail help ensure that fiduciary tax matters are handled efficiently and in accordance with regulatory standards.

Prior to joining Peak Trust Company, Daria built a diverse professional background that spans international procurement management and legal support. After working with international corporations, she relocated to Alaska and later served as a paralegal for an immigration attorney in Anchorage. These roles strengthened her analytical capabilities, regulatory awareness, and ability to manage complex documentation and compliance processes.

Daria earned both her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees in Economics and International Relations, with a specialization in Accounting, from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations. She has also completed fiduciary taxation coursework through Cannon Financial Institute. Her technical training, global perspective, and disciplined approach to compliance contribute meaningfully to Peak Trust Company’s fiduciary tax operations.

Danaya Dews

Danaya Dews serves as a Marketing Assistant at Peak Trust Company, where she contributes her expertise in content creation and digital marketing. In her role, she supports the marketing team by producing engaging multimedia content, managing social media platforms, and helping to highlight Peak’s team, services, and industry leadership.

Danaya first joined Peak Trust Company in 2022 as a Fiduciary Assistant and Front Desk Receptionist, where she gained valuable experience in client service and trust administration. Her background in communications and media production naturally led her to a marketing-focused role, where she now applies her creativity and strategic thinking to enhance Peak’s storytelling efforts.

Prior to joining Peak, Danaya worked as a Creative and Content Intern for a music awards show, where she produced and edited digital video content, authored articles, and supported interview and event production. She also served as a Social Media Manager and Production Assistant for college organizations, refining her skills in audience engagement and digital media strategy.

Danaya graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Television-Radio from Ithaca College. Outside of work, she enjoys baking and endurance running. As part of Peak’s marketing team, she brings a creative approach and a strong communications background to help shape the company’s brand and messaging.

Heather Dolan

Heather Dolan serves as a Fiduciary Assistant at Peak Trust Company’s Alaska office, a role she has held since 2021. As part of the fiduciary administration team, Heather supports Fiduciary Officers in managing all aspects of trust account oversight including records maintenance, transaction processing, preparing client communications and annual tax coordination. She excels in providing accurate, timely responses to client inquiries and partner requests.

In her work, Heather upholds strict procedures around account security, documentation, compliance protocols and maintaining excellent service levels. She plays a crucial coordination role by assisting Fiduciary Officers with beneficiary correspondence, money movement, brokerage interactions and day-to-day account administration.

A lifelong Alaskan, Heather joined Peak Trust Company after working as a trust and estates paralegal at a local law firm, leveraging her background in estate planning legal support. She earned her Associate of Applied Sciences degree in Paralegal Studies from the University of Alaska Anchorage.

In her free time, Heather enjoys biking and hiking to soak up the Alaska sunshine. As part of Peak’s trust administration team in Alaska, she provides excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in support of smooth trust account management and operations.

Abbi Failing

Abbi Failing serves as Human Resources Coordinator at Peak Trust Company, supporting core HR functions across all offices. She joined Peak in 2025 and brings a diverse background in personnel coordination, organizational operations, and administrative support to the role.

In her position, Abbi assists with employee onboarding, supports internal communications, and helps maintain accurate and timely documentation of HR-related processes. Her focus on consistency, discretion, and team collaboration directly supports Peak’s goal of cultivating a high-performing and engaged workplace. 

Abbi professional background includes over a decade of experience working in fast-paced and high-responsibility environments, where she developed a reputation for reliability, strong communication, and mission-driven execution. Her experience coordinating across departments, managing confidential materials, and navigating complex workflows allows her to thrive in her role supporting Peak’s growing team.

She holds Associate degrees in Aviation Operations and Allied Health Sciences from the Community College of the Air Force. Known for her professionalism and adaptability, Abbi is a valuable member of the HR team helping to drive operational excellence and employee support at Peak Trust Company.

Jeannie Fanning

Jeannie Fanning serves as Head of Strategic Operations at Peak Trust Company, reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer. In this senior leadership role, she is responsible for translating the firm’s strategic priorities into operational execution across all departments. Acting as a key advisor and implementation partner to the CEO, Jeannie helps drive enterprise-wide initiatives, remove operational barriers, and ensure alignment between leadership vision and day-to-day execution.

Jeannie plays a central role in strategic planning and organizational alignment. She partners with the CEO and Leadership Team to co-develop long-term strategic roadmaps, translate high-level objectives into actionable plans with clear ownership and timelines, and monitor measurable progress against firmwide goals. She facilitates leadership meetings, tracks commitments and deliverables, and fosters accountability across departments to ensure priorities remain aligned and momentum is maintained.

A significant focus of her role is operational oversight and cross-functional execution. Jeannie leads high-impact, cross-departmental initiatives, develops key performance indicators and dashboards to measure success, and builds consistent systems and processes that support scalability. She works closely with department heads to remove roadblocks, manage change initiatives, and strengthen communication and collaboration across teams. By driving disciplined project management and structured follow-through, she enhances organizational efficiency and enterprise-wide accountability.

Jeannie brings more than 20 years of experience in workflow management, performance evaluation, and process optimization, with a background in healthcare administration. She has extensive experience leading teams through organizational change and system modernization. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from Alaska Pacific University. Her strategic execution mindset and leadership capabilities provide critical infrastructure to support Peak Trust Company’s continued growth and long-term success.

Gretchen Grau, CSOP, CTOP

Gretchen Grau has been with Peak Trust Company since 2012 and currently serves as Senior Operations Specialist in Peak’s Alaska office. In this role, Gretchen is responsible for cash management and balancing, processing electronic transactions for incoming and outgoing distributions, processing trades, and posting transactions to client accounts. In addition to her fiduciary operations role, Gretchen is a contributing member of Peak’s Operations Technology Steering Committee, a subcommittee of the firm’s trust committee focused on the continuous improvement of Peak’s operational excellence through the adoption of technology.

Prior to joining Peak, she worked in office management for over 10 years. Gretchen brings a broad range of experience in business administration and operations to her role. 

Gretchen earned her Certified Securities Operations Professional (CSOP) and Certified Trust Operations Professional (CTOP) designations from the Cannon Financial Institute.

Daniel Grondahl, CIPM

Daniel Grondahl has been with Peak Trust Company since 2020 and serves as Senior Investment Operations Officer. In this role, Daniel supports the firm’s investment management function by overseeing investment systems, portfolio management processes, and performance monitoring across all investment accounts. Working directly with the Chief Investment Officer, he ensures the accuracy, integrity, and scalability of Peak’s investment reporting infrastructure, serving as the operational foundation of the Investment Management team.

Daniel is responsible for maintaining and validating investment platforms, producing detailed performance and benchmarking analyses, monitoring portfolio allocations, and strengthening internal controls related to investment data. He partners closely with Fiduciary Officers and Operations to ensure alignment between portfolio reporting and fiduciary administration. With a strong focus on systems optimization and technology integration, Daniel helps enhance automation, improve data accuracy, and support informed investment oversight at the firm level.

Prior to joining Peak, Daniel spent over a decade in the financial services industry, specializing in investment performance analytics and reporting. He previously worked at an Alaska based asset management firm, most recently serving as Manager of Performance Analytics, where he oversaw performance measurement frameworks and analytics processes. His background provides him with a disciplined, data driven approach to investment operations and portfolio analysis.

Daniel earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from the University of Alaska Fairbanks. He also holds the Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement designation from the CFA Institute.
