Abigail O’Connor, JD

Abigail O’Connor serves as Chief Legal Officer for Peak Trust Company. Since joining the firm in 2024, Abigail has brought deep experience in estate planning, trust law, and complex trust structures. In her current role, she is responsible for leading the company’s legal strategy, advising executive leadership and the Board of Directors on legal, regulatory, and risk-related matters, and ensuring the organization operates with the highest standards of compliance and governance.

As Chief Legal Officer, Abigail oversees all legal functions across the company, including risk management, contract review, and litigation oversight. She works closely with senior leadership to support strategic initiatives, including corporate transactions and long-term business planning, while ensuring alignment with applicable laws and fiduciary obligations. She also partners with compliance and operational teams to reinforce a culture of integrity and sound decision-making throughout the organization.

Prior to joining Peak Trust Company, Abigail practiced law in Alaska, and previously Florida, where she represented trustees and personal representatives in trust administration and estate probate matters. She has more than 17 years of experience in estate planning and trust and administration.

Abigail is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel and currently serves as Alaska State Chair. She has also held leadership roles in organizations including the Anchorage Estate Planning Council and Anchorage Trust & Estate Professionals. Her professional recognitions include a Martindale-Hubbell AV rating and a Band 1 ranking by Chambers Private Wealth Law in Alaska.

A frequent writer and speaker, Abigail contributes to industry publications and presents on a variety of estate planning topics. She holds a Juris Doctor with a concentration in Estate Planning from Albany Law School, a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Rutgers University. She is licensed to practice law in Alaska and Florida.

Sandra Barta

Sandra Barta brings a diverse and extensive background to her role as a Fiduciary Officer in Peak Trust Company’s Alaska office. With 25 years of administrative and bookkeeping experience, including over a decade in legal and trust administration services, Sandra is well-equipped to manage the complex responsibilities of fiduciary services.

Sandra specializes in managing trusts and custodial LLCs holding Private Placement Life Insurance (PPLI) and Private Placement Variable Annuities (PPVA). Her expertise in these areas, combined with her strong fiduciary knowledge, ensures that complex financial structures are handled with precision and care.

Prior to joining Peak in 2024, Sandra gained valuable experience in trust administration and legal support, where she was responsible for managing trust accounts, preparing legal documents, and ensuring the smooth execution of fiduciary processes. Her background in pension administration further strengthened her skills in managing participant accounts, conducting audits, and maintaining compliance in financial reporting.

Fluent in both English and German, Sandra is known for her attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and dedication to client satisfaction. Her commitment to providing high-quality service ensures that trust administration at Peak is handled with professionalism and care.

Erica Bradley

Erica Bradley joined Peak Trust Company’s Nevada office in 2024 as an Associate Fiduciary Officer. In this role, Erica supports the administration of Nevada trust accounts, ensuring they are managed in accordance with the terms of the governing instruments and in the best interests of the beneficiaries. She leverages her experience in Nevada trust administration, customer service, and problem-solving to provide excellent support to Peak’s clients.

Erica brings a strong background in Nevada trust administration and customer service to her position at Peak Trust Company. Prior to joining the team, Erica held progressive roles in the Nevada trust industry, including positions as a Trust Administrator and Manager of Trust Administration. In these roles, she gained valuable experience in administering a large book of Nevada trust accounts, managing funds, processing transactions, and corresponding with clients and interested parties.

In addition to her trust administration experience, Erica has a strong foundation in customer service. She has acted as a first point of contact for customers, guiding them through forms, explaining processes, updating systems, and providing status updates. Her ability to solve caller concerns expeditiously and professionally, combined with her collaborative approach to resolving issues, makes her a valuable asset to the Peak team.

Erica is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Western Governors University, which will further enhance her technical skills and ability to leverage technology in her role as an Associate Fiduciary Officer.

With her commitment to providing exceptional service, her attention to detail, and her problem-solving skills, Erica is well-equipped to support the administration of Nevada trust accounts at Peak Trust Company, ensuring that clients receive the highest level of care and professionalism.

Josephine Cangemi

Josephine Cangemi has been with Peak Trust Company since 2021 and currently serves as a Fiduciary Assistant supporting trust administration operations and client service. As a Fiduciary Assistant, Josephine works closely with Fiduciary Officers on all aspects of trust account management including asset custody and money movement, account reviews and maintenance, transaction processing, annual tax reporting, and managing client inquiries and requests. She excels in providing prompt, accurate, and excellent client service.

Josephine began with Peak Trust Company as a Receptionist, providing administrative support, before moving into her current role leveraging her background in financial services administration. Josephine brings over 15 years of administrative experience in financial services and casino cash operations management to Peak Trust Company. Her attention to detail, organizational skills, and responsiveness enable smooth trust account administration and a positive client experience. Josephine trained in fiduciary functions including process workflow, documentation, quality control, and asset/account reconciliation.

In all of her work, Josephine upholds strict procedures for security, confidentiality, and fiduciary duty while interacting with clients, beneficiaries, and business partners. She plays an important support role by assisting Fiduciary Officers in managing administration of Nevada trusts and responding to all client needs in a timely and effective manner.

Jacob Creswell

Jacob Creswell joined Peak Trust Company in 2025 and currently serves as a Fiduciary Officer in the firm’s Alaska office. In this role, he is responsible for the administration of complex trust accounts and for fostering strong, thoughtful relationships with clients and beneficiaries. Jacob works closely with families and their advisors to ensure each trust is administered in accordance with its governing documents, applicable regulations, and Peak’s high standards of fiduciary care.

Jacob began his tenure at Peak as a Fiduciary Assistant, where he developed a strong operational foundation in trust administration and client service. Prior to joining the firm, he gained valuable industry experience through internships with several Tennessee trust companies, contributing to estate planning initiatives, the administration of personal and special needs trusts, and business development efforts. These experiences provided him with a well rounded perspective on the technical and relational aspects of fiduciary services.

He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Trust and Wealth Management from Campbell University, graduating magna cum laude, with a minor in Financial Planning. During his academic career, Jacob received multiple scholarships and distinctions, including recognition on the President’s and Dean’s Lists, and completed the Truist Emerging Leaders Certification program.

Tanequa Davis

Tanequa Davis serves as an Associate Fiduciary Officer at Peak Trust Company, bringing over 19 years of experience in the financial services industry. She supports the fiduciary team in trust administration, account onboarding, and compliance oversight while maintaining a strong focus on relationship management and client service excellence.

Prior to joining Peak, Tanequa served as a Trust Officer at a national financial institution, administering complex trust and probate accounts in accordance with governing documents and regulatory requirements. She collaborated closely with clients, legal professionals, and internal partners to ensure fiduciary responsibilities were met with accuracy and care.

Tanequa has also held leadership roles in private banking and retail branch operations, including as a Senior Client Associate and Branch Manager. Across these roles, she developed expertise in risk management, account administration, and team leadership.

Tanequa holds an Associate Degree in Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University. Known for her attention to detail and commitment to client-focused solutions, she plays a key role in delivering high-quality fiduciary services at Peak Trust Company.

Heather Dolan

Heather Dolan serves as a Fiduciary Assistant at Peak Trust Company’s Alaska office, a role she has held since 2021. As part of the fiduciary administration team, Heather supports Fiduciary Officers in managing all aspects of trust account oversight including records maintenance, transaction processing, preparing client communications and annual tax coordination. She excels in providing accurate, timely responses to client inquiries and partner requests.

In her work, Heather upholds strict procedures around account security, documentation, compliance protocols and maintaining excellent service levels. She plays a crucial coordination role by assisting Fiduciary Officers with beneficiary correspondence, money movement, brokerage interactions and day-to-day account administration.

A lifelong Alaskan, Heather joined Peak Trust Company after working as a trust and estates paralegal at a local law firm, leveraging her background in estate planning legal support. She earned her Associate of Applied Sciences degree in Paralegal Studies from the University of Alaska Anchorage.

In her free time, Heather enjoys biking and hiking to soak up the Alaska sunshine. As part of Peak’s trust administration team in Alaska, she provides excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in support of smooth trust account management and operations.

Jeannie Fanning

Jeannie Fanning serves as Chief Operating Officer at Peak Trust Company, working closely with the Chief Executive Officer and Leadership Team to advance the firm’s strategic vision and operational excellence. In this role, she is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring that the firm’s strategic priorities are effectively executed across all departments.

As a key member of the executive leadership team, Jeannie plays an integral role in shaping and implementing firmwide strategy. She partners with leadership to develop long-term strategic initiatives, translate high-level objectives into actionable plans, and monitor progress against defined goals. Through strong organizational alignment and clear accountability, she helps ensure that priorities remain focused and execution remain consistent.

Jeannie provides leadership over cross-functional operations, driving collaboration and efficiency across the organization. She leads high-impact initiatives, develops performance metrics, and implements scalable systems to support growth. Her work includes structuring teams, integrating technology, strengthening quality, and advancing continuous improvement. Through clear communication and change management, she enhances operational effectiveness and the client and employee experience.

With more than 20 years of experience in people centered leadership, compliance, and organizational change management, Jeannie brings a disciplined and strategic approach to service operations. She has deep expertise in workflow optimization, regulatory compliance, risk management, and data-driven decision-making, as well as leading large-scale initiatives from development through execution. Her leadership emphasizes accountability, collaboration, and sustainable growth.

Holding a Bachelor of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from Alaska Pacific University, Jeannie’s leadership and operational expertise play a critical role in supporting Peak Trust Company’s long-term success.

Amber Gunn-Holt, CTFA

Amber Gunn-Holt has been with Peak Trust Company since 2014 and currently serves as Fiduciary Team Manager. In this leadership role, Amber oversees fiduciary administration functions, supporting fiduciary officers and staff in the delivery of consistent, high-quality trust and IRA administration across the organization. Her deep institutional knowledge and hands-on experience make her a trusted leader within the fiduciary team.

Throughout her career at Peak, Amber has administered a wide range of trust and IRA accounts, including trusts sitused in Alaska, life insurance trusts, trusteed IRAs, and self-directed IRAs holding alternative assets. Her progression from Fiduciary Assistant to senior leadership reflects her strong commitment to professional growth, operational excellence, and client service.

In addition to her day to day work, Amber frequently attends industry specific conferences and has co-authored articles on topics such as IRAs, charitable trust planning, and life insurance trusts. She is known for her collaborative approach and dedication to knowledge-sharing, both within the Peak team and the broader trust and estate planning community.

Amber holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Education from the University of Alaska Anchorage, has earned the Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) designation through the Cannon Financial Institute and completed the Peak Trust Management Certification course offered by the University of Delaware. Her expertise and leadership contribute greatly to Peak’s continued growth and commitment to fiduciary excellence.
